Real Problems, Real Results
Public Interest Research Group In Michigan (PIRGIM) Education Fund has played a key role in providing consumer protections and promoting democracy in the state. Highlights of our recent achievements include: educating the public and decision-makers about the benefits of Clean Money Campaign Reform; working for better transportation options in southeast Michigan; and building support for strong recommendations from the Michigan Land Use Leadership Council to counter the impacts of sprawl. PIRGIM Education Fund's Mission
With public debate around important issues often dominated by special interests pursuing their own narrow agendas, the Public Interest Research Group In Michigan (PIRGIM) Education Fund offers an independent and articulate voice on behalf of the public interest.

PIRGIM Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, works to promote environmental defense, consumer protection and responsive government in Michigan. We investigate problems, craft solutions, and offer citizens meaningful opportunities for civic participation. PIRGIM Education Fund has been a leader on key environmental and public interest issues, working to protect our waterways and air, promote energy efficiency, protect consumers against rip-offs, and minimize the influence of special interest money in politics.

PIRGIM Education Fund works closely with PIRGIM, a 501(c)(4) organization that offers a unique blend of political strategists and policy experts backed by a professional field operation.

The PIRGIM Education Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization, received generous contributions from charitable foundations including Beldon Fund, the Educational Foundation of America, Joyce Foundation, the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, the Michigan Environmental Council, Wege Foundation and Youth Vote. Additionally, we received support from more than 100 individual citizen donors.
